"Companies are currently facing major challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has changed our lifestyle, the increasingly rapid development of digital technology, especially artificial intelligence, war conflicts, and global economic fluctuations to the characteristics of Gen Z present their own challenges," said Hardianto Atmadja, President Director of Garudafood.
Garudafood's actions as a leading FMCG company in Indonesia are an interesting topic for students to study. The students’ enthusiasm was evident from the questions they continued to ask even after the event had ended.
Mr. Hardianto Atmadja conveyed the concept of new uncertainty in the business sector, i.e. "BANI", which stands for Brittle, Anxiety, Non-linear, and Incomprehensible. To face uncertainty in business, Garudafood applies a holistic strategic model and carries out an open platform strategy through partnerships, digital technology transformation, and utilizes New, Renewable Energy (NRE).
Garudafood is also implementing sustainable strategy practices by developing green initiatives that focus on reducing energy consumption and emissions. Garudafood also reduces the use of paper and water in all its operations. Don't forget to always apply the 3R (reduce, recycle, and return to earth) principle.
