Our Milestones

1958

  • Darmo Putro produces tapioca flour under the Tudung brand in Pati, Central Java.

1979

  • Venturing into the unbranded peanut business.

1990

  • PT Tudung Putrajaya was established, marketing shelled peanuts under the Garuda brand.

1994

  • SNS was established as a production company to support the logistics activities of Garudafood products.
  • The establishment of PT Garuda Putra Putri Jaya, which expanded into the peanut business a year later.

1997

  • The Garudafood factory in Gresik, East Java, began operating.

1998

  • Garudafood acquires PT Triteguh Manunggalsejati (TRMS), a jelly cup manufacturer that is the forerunner of packaged beverage producers.

2001

  • Garudafood launched the Gery wafer brand.

2002

  • Garudafood launched the Garuda Pilus.

2003

  • Garudafood launched the Okky Jelly drink brand.

2005

  • Garudafood meluncurkan Mountea.
  • Garudafood meluncurkan makanan ringan Leo.

2007

  • The Garudafood biscuit factory in Sumedang, West Java, has begun operations.
  • Garudafood introduced the Garuda Rosta Brand.

2008

  • Garudafood launched the Chocolatos snack brand.

2009

  • Garudafood launched the Clevo milk brand.

2011

  • Conducted a joint venture with Suntory Food & Beverage Asia and established PT Suntory Garuda Beverage.

2012

  • The Garudafood milk factory in Sumedang, West Java, has begun operations.

2015

  • Garudafood launches a new logo.

2018

  • Garudafood became a public company with the stock code ‘GOOD’.
  • Garudafood established a subsidiary, Goldenbird Pacific Trading Pte. Ltd., which focuses on trading Garudafood group products in the international market.

2019

  • Gery X-Quest opened in Gresik, marking the first industry-based digital educational tourism in Indonesia.

  • We are forming a joint venture with Hormel Foods Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. to market and distribute Skippy® products. Garudafood Jaya (HGJ).

  • Garudafood established PT Garuda Elang Nusantara (GEN), a joint venture company with Falcon Pictures. 

2020

  • Garudafood launches Garuda Crunchy.
  • Garudafood acquires PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (MBR).

2022

  • Partnered with Falcon Pictures to launch a product inspired by Dilan movies. This led to a new brand known as “Cokelat Dilan”.

2024

  • Acquired PT Suntory Garuda Beverage from Greatwall Capital Limited. The Company is now called PT Garuda Beverage Sukses.
     

2025

  • Launch of ‘Chocolatos X-Quest’ at Sumedang Factory - Factory tour gallery with the largest immersive LED screen in Southeast Asia.
