Vice Governor of East Java Inaugurates Garudafood's First Digital Visit Gallery in Indonesia

Gresik, August 28, 2019 - PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk ("Garudafood") held a talk show as well as the inauguration of the first digital factory visit gallery in Indonesia Gery X-Quest Factory at the Garudafood Gresik biscuit factory, East Java (28/8). Gery X-Quest Factory is one of Garudafood's innovations with the first digital concept in Indonesia in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia in supporting Tourism 4.0. This is a form of continued collaboration between Garudafood and the Ministry of Tourism, having previously collaborated on 'co-branding' in 2017 on the packaging and television advertisements of Gery Saluut Malkist Coconut products that have a taste of Balinese coconut which are still ongoing today.

The inauguration was carried out by East Java Vice Governor, Mr. Emil Elestianto Dardak, Independent Commissioner of Garudafood, Mr. Dorodjatun Kuntjoro-Jakti, Commissioner of Garudafood, Mr. Hartono Atmadja, CEO of Garudafood, Mr. Hardianto Atmadja and Managing Director of Garudafood Mr. Fransiskus Johny.

The event then continued with a talk show with the theme 'The Role of Businesses in Promoting the Tourism Industry' with Deputy Speaker for Marketing Development I RI, Mrs. Rizki Handayani Mustafa, Chairperson of the Indonesian Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs Association, Mr. Adhi S. Lukman, Head of the Culture and Tourism Office of East Java Province, Mr. Sinarto and CEO of GarudaFood, Mr. Hardianto Atmadja and Chairman of the Business Forum CEO, Mr. Jahja B. Soenarjo as the moderator, in the presence of many of professional entrepreneurs domiciled in Jakarta and Surabaya.

The Garudafood factory visit program has been conducted since 2015 at its three factory locations namely Pati, Gresik and Rancaekek which were welcomed enthusiastically and positively by the community. Therefore, GarudaFood then conducts various development and improvement of services to be able to increase attractiveness and more interactive communication.
