Jakarta, 26 September 2023 - PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk's commitment to prioritizing business practices that consider environmental, social sustainability and good corporate governance has once again won the Katadata Corporate Sustainability Awards (KCSA) for the Food & Beverages sector as the Overall Winner. The award was given by Heri Susanto - Chief Content Officer (CCO) Katadata and received by Basuki Nur Rohman, Director of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, Tuesday (26/9).
The assessment indicators follow the sustainability reporting guidelines in SEOJK No. 16/2021 which stipulates the implementation of POJK No. 51/2017 covering 3 (three) aspects with the following weighting: Environmental (50%), Social (30%) and Governance (20%). The development of the methodology and company performance assessment involved a panel of experts, including Maria Nindita Radyati, Ph.D. – Chair of the KADIN Sustainability Task Force supported by the Katadata Research Center team.
"This award is a recognition for the efforts made by Garudafood and motivates us in the future to run a business that considers sustainability, especially Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects," said Basuki Nur Rohman, Director of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk.
