Jakarta, 17 November 2022 - PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood) through the Jakarta Head Office and its business unit in Gresik, East Java won two prestigious Mitra Bakti Husada (MBH) 2022 awards from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The Mitra Bakti Husada (MBH) award is a form of the government's appreciation for institutions that play a role and contribute to efforts to overcome the health crisis amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and to strengthen the health service sector through the Healthy, Productive Women Workers Program (GP2SP). This award was given during the celebration of the 58th National Health Day on Thursday, 17 November 2022 at the Grand Ballroom, Westin Hotel, Jakarta.
The award ceremony was attended by Andika Rajasa (Head of Human Capital & General Affairs) and Cyril Patric Mamahit (Business Unit Head Gresik) as Garudafood’s representatives to receive the award which was given directly by Kunta Wibawa Dasa Nugraha (Secretary General of the Ministry of Health).
Garudafood has always implemented health protocols at the Head Office and in all of its business units according to government recommendations, such as keeping a distance, wearing masks, providing hand sanitizers, and checking body temperature. In addition, Garudafood provides exclusive and comfortable lactation rooms, additional nutrition for pregnant and lactating mothers, medical consultation with occupational specialists, internal and external lactation counselors, nutritional counseling and nutritional control for employees through catering certification, classes for mothers and pregnant women exercise sessions as well as routine exercise classes.
One of the achievements of the Productive, Healthy Women Workers Movement (GP2SP) program was the reduction in anemia among women workers. This was achieved by regularly providing iron tablets.
