On 8 - 9 August 2022, Garudafood held the closing ceremony for the Garudafood Entrepreneurial Village program, they also announced the winners and gave appreciation for the participants’ achievements and commitment during this program.
The event was held offline and was attended by Alep Djoni as Regional Head of West Java 2, Aminudin (Branch Head Depo Tasikmalaya) and the team, Nanang Harry Mulyanto (Branch Head Depo Garut), Denny Rizki Setiawan as the Director of Fundraising DT Peduli, Cecep Dian Gustiawan (Head of Corporate Fundraising) and mentors from DT Peduli and hundreds of women from the Tasikmalaya and Cibiuk - Garut area.
The Garudafood Entrepreneurship Village is one of Garudafood's CSR programs under the pillar of community empowerment. The first program was held in 2017 involving 4 housewive communities in Bogor - West Java. A total of 354 communities spread across the Greater Jakarta, Bandung City & Bandung District, Tasikmalaya, Garut (West Java), and Gresik – East Java.
This program aims to identify the community's potential and create business opportunities, especially for the housewife community, by instilling entrepreneurial spirit and promoting a more independent and productive community.
