Jakarta, 3 October 2019 - International Convetion on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) is an event for institutions and companies to present innovations and the quality improvement on international level and also share the experiences in doing Continuous Improvement. ICQCC 2019 was held by JUSE (Union of Japanese Scientist and Engineers) on 23-25 September 2019, followed by 16 countries (Bangladesh, India, Japan, Malaysia, Phillipines, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Mauritus, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Mexico, England, and United States) with total 2.150 participants.
There were 370 teams from 16 countried with award categorize Gold, Silver and Bronze predicate; and each of predicate can be more than one country. Grateful to God, SGA MANUT as the representative of PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk successfully achieved Gold Award on.
The team that sent to “Sunrise” country represent BU Gresik are Agus Haryanto (NPRD), Totok Elestiyono (Engineering), Febio Nur Pratama (Engineering). SGA MANUT presented “Reduce 28% Energy Consumption on Electricity at Stock Preparation Section of Cheese Crackers Product” topic. Generally, the improvement that has been done was changing the production process in making the Cream Cheese to be simpler without decreasing the cream quality so the electricity used for this cream making is declined to 28%. This topic is accordance to the direction and policy of Company which is Corporate Environmental Policy.
This achievement is certainly not be separated from hard working and prayers from every part that involved in SGA MANUT team competition. Hopefully, this achievement can be a trigger to us so we can work harder to achieve vision and mission of the company which is satisfying the consumers through innovative food and beverage products.
