Jakarta, 27 September 2019 – The Ministry of Tourism Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpar RI) supporting Co-Branding program to be a brand of Indonesian tourism strategy. This is said by Mr. Arief Yahya, Minister of Tourism Republic of Indonesia on ‘Wonderful Indonesia Co-Branding Forum 2019’ event at Balairung Soesilo Soedarman, Sapta Pesona Building, Jakarta on Friday (27/9/2019). There are 138 brands and 100 the diaspora restaurants collaborated with Kemenpar RI as Co-Branding partners to successfully achieve international tourists target 2019, among of its is PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood).
Data Travel Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) showed Indonesian tourism performance significantly increase to 30 position from 70 position in 2013. Price Competitiveness, Prioritization of Travel & Tourism, and International Openness are the primacy of Indonesian tourism in TTCI. Meanwhile, Environmental Sustainability, Health and Hygiene, dan Tourist Service Infrastructure are the weaknesses that should be improved,” explained by Minister of Tourism RI.
In that event, The Ministry of Tourism Republic on Indonesia giving an appreciation to Garudafood with an award as 'The Best Education Program For Young Traveler' directly given by Mr. Arief Yahya, Minister of Tourism Republic of Indonesia to Mr. Johannes Bayu Kristianto, Marketing Manager Garudafood. The event continued with signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Co-Branding Agreement that related to collaboration program in promoting Indonesian tourism through Digital Tourism 4.0 in Gery X-Quest Factory BU Gresik, showing Wonderful Indonesia material and Augmented Reality (AR) material inclusion themed Tourism Destination and Bali Culinary. This collaboration is the continuity of Co-Branding program since 2017 in Wonderful Indonesia & Pesona Indonesia logo applying in TVC package and Gery Saluut Malkist Coconut product promotion material.
