Kacang Garuda and Leo Snack Achieved The Word of Mouth Marketing Awards 2009
Two brands of GarudaFood, Kacang Garuda and Leo Snack got The Word of Mouth Marketing Award 2009 conducted by SWA magazine collaborated with Octovate Consulting Group.

Leo got 281,76 index number above Piatos while Kacang Garuda lead in number one position with 268,76 index number



“Thank you to our entire loyal customer who consume our product and promote it to another people. We really appreciate that” Marketing Manager Agus Afenlie said



In this digital era, customer becomes more critical than before. The challenge to promote one product is hard. Marketers has to combine not only traditional promotion through TVC or print ad but also social media such as facebook, blog or forum.

“Customer behavior has changed. People trust their peers. People believe in recommendation other than commercial. And this is a real challenge how to make people believe in our product” Agus Afenlie said



The Word of Mouth (WOM) is given to the most recommended brands based on TAlking Promoting Selling and Social Network (TAPS) concept. Survey had been conducted with 1.850 participants in Jabotabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan and Makassar. (PR Dept, Source:SWA)
