7 Brands of GarudaFood Achieved IBBA Award 2007
7 brands of GarudaFood earns Indonesia Best Brand Award (IBBA) organized by Research Institute MARS and SWA Magazine.

3 out of 7 categories of IBBA 2007 earned by brands of GarudaFood, had won a pedicate of Golden Brand, namely Garuda (Category of Branded Peanut), Gery (Chocolate Wafer Coating), and Okky Jelly (Jelly Cup). While the other 4 brands Gery Chocolator (category of Wafer Stick), Leo (Processed Potatoes Flour Crispy thin cips), Mountea (Fruit Flavoured Drink) and Pilus Garuda (Category of snack pilus).

“Achivement of the seven brands of GarudaFood would certainly be something to be proud of. An outstanding achievement to us. In fact, our hard-working all these times in building and developing brands obtains peoples acknowledgement” said Budiman, Head of Marketing Division of GarudaFood Group.

According to Budiman, brand is a high-valued company assets. As Intangible Asset, existence of brands have frequently exceeded Tangible Asset. This reality would be a challenge to businesspersons, including those who deal with Consumer Goods Industry to keep on increasing awareness of their brands in public minds.

GarudaFood as one of national food and beverage companies really appreciates and simultaneously realizes the strength of a brand, so that it exerts its best to build and maintain any brands it owns.

This achievement has proven the high consistence and commitment of GarudaFood to continuously produce innovative and high quality products. Golden Brand award for three favorite brands of GarudaFood; Kacang Garuda, Okky Jelly, and Gery have strengthened domination of GarudaFood in peanut, Biscuit, and Jelly market. It is not easy to maintain position already erned for more than three times.

While to LEO this award is acknowledgement of its hard work in building and maintaining strength of brand in national snack market. Leo itself is well known with its innovative product variants such as Leo Keripik Kentang and Leo Kerupuk.

While to Pilus Garuda, an award earned in this new category is something to be proud of. Since the first time of launching this Pilus Garuda, Pilus team is consistent to develop this brand using any efforts until it is widely known by people and even acknowledged by national research agency.

To Mountea, IBBA 2007 is a result of its hard-working to make new breakthrough in tea cup beverage business which is now followed by other beverage industries.

IBBA is granted as appreciation to the best brands in the Home Country and simultaneously as performance parameter of a product brand in Indonesia. The evaluation is made based on survey finding made by marketing research institution MARS in cooperation with SWA magazine. Respondents in the survey originate from seven big cities in Indonesia, e.g. Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Semarang, Medan, Makasar and Denpasar.
