GarudaFood Earns Two Award of Top Brand Award 2000-2007
Okky Jelly Drink and Kacang Garuda from GarudaFood earns an award of Top Brand 2000-2007 according to Marketing Magazine and research institution Frontier Consulting Group. This award is acknowledgment of outsider party for reputation and equity of the both brands for a period of eight years.
It can be said that, Top Brand is the highest gift to a brand granted by Marketing Magazine based on national research finding made by Frontier Consulting Group for eight years (2000-2007).
Brand is one of the largest company strength and simultaneously high-valued company assets. As an Intangible Asset, existence of brand has frequently exceeded Tangible Assets. This reality has become a challenge to businessman, including those operating in Consumer Goods Industry to keep on increasing awareness of their brand in public mind.
In addition to identity, brand can also create high equity to company, long-term image and loyalty. The strongest brands would be those that can maintain top position for years; (1) Top of market share, (2) Top of mind share, dan (3) Top of commitment share. Unfortunately, there are many brands that can only strong for only one or two years in top position, however, they are getting weakening in the subsequent years.
In this respect, Marketing magazine improvises Top Brand Award Granting Program for any brands fulfilling the above mentioned criteria.
Marketing Magazine observes that brands in Indonesia develops so rapidly in one last decade. Amidst keen competition climate, a brand needs superior dispersion if compared to other brands in consumers’ mind. While, in other side, brand building process needs a relatively long period.
GarudaFood as one of national food and beverage companies really appreciates and simultaneously realizes a strength of a brand, so that it keep trying to build and maintain brands it owns. It is proven by achievement of two favorite brands of GarudaFood succeeding to earn Top Brand (2000-2007) respectively for category of Jelly Drink and Branded Peanut.
“Achievement of Kacang Garuda and Okky Jelly Drink in earning Top Brand 2000-2007 had enhanced “brand assets” to GarudaFood Group, proven by Top Brand research for eight years,” said Budiman, Head of Marketing Division Group.
According to Budiman, Top Brand award earned by OKKY Jelly Drink and Kacang Garuda is a proof of seriousness to build and maintain brands using any efforts and considerable investment in order to be the best in their respective categories.
If OKKY Jelly Drink known to be the market leader in the category of jelly drink, Kacang Garuda is known to be the favorite peanut brand in Indonesia. Both of them would certainly have an interest to maintain and improve their brands in order to be the best. Top Brand 2000-2007 had strenthened position of the both brands as market leader in jelly drink and branded peanut business.
