GarudaFood Got ISO 9001, 14001 and 22000 Quality Sertificate
PT GarudaFood Putra Putri Jaya, Biscuits Division, for the first time receive International Standard Operation (ISO) in Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environment Management System (ISO 14001) and Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) in December 2008

“We named it ISO Trilogy. This achievement has a lot of meaning for us, we have been work very hard for five months, over 4.000 employees got involved and the result really great. GarudaFood has been proven comply with International Standard in Quality Management System, Environment Management System and Food Safety Management System” Managing Director GarudaFood Hartono Atmadja said in Jakarta (13/3).

Furthermore, Hartono explains the competition in food and beverages industry really tight. There is always new product launched in the market. In one side, it’s beneficial for consumers because they have wider option of products to choose. But on the other hand, F&B company has to develop a very accurate marketing strategies for unloyal consumers.

GarudaFood’s long journey for almost 19 years has proven that it is not easy to build consumer’s loyalty, especially in consumer goods that easy to be affected with food safety issue.

”We hope this successful can be an added value to GarudaFood.

It is true that implementation of the certificate was a big challenge, the long-term benefits will certainly be worth the effort. Our products proven safe and qualified” Hartono said

According to Mr Hartono, the implementation of the ISO quality management certificate is GarudaFood’s commitment to create more innovative products, to improve system and product’s quality to meet international standard.
